Hi Stefan being an admin by itself doesn't work, you have to go the folder unlock it and change the "everyone" to Read/Write. You can then authorise and change it back to Read.

Still will crash Cubase 9.5.30/ 10.12.6, sent a crash report to Props support.

If you have a wrapper/VST host such as BlueCat you can load in that and it works in Cubase

I found out the subscription doesn't cover every RE.
I got a bit carried away on the magnum opus comment-
but it's gonna be one of my finer mixes,
and Reason has lifted a technical block for me.

What's the equivalent file system path on Windows ?

Because windows users not using admin-level accounts will also have this same issue.

Edit: ok, found it: %AppData%\Propellerhead Software\Europa by Reason
"Europa by Reason" is the missing folder on the non-admin user, containing the license file.

Europa blacklisted, reactivate, crash

Seen this reported earlier, not good.

It's not currently in Europa by Reason natively, but you should be able to MIDI learn depending how the DAW handles VST/AU plugins.

I'm on Sierra and so far it is loading in hosts I have, which doesn't include Cubase though, but it does tend to crash/freeze occasionally when changing presets.

For security reasons I would not change everyone to read/write. I would limit Read/Write privileges to the admin or main user account.

Just a heads up to anyone who doesn't currently own the FULL version of Reason 10. The free offer only applies to existing Reason 10 owners. Buying new or upgrading now or in the future will not gain you the free VST license for Europa. This information came from Lars at Propellerhead.

The Europa web player is an interesting development. It takes MIDI from your controller or the on-screen keyboard to the synth, but will also take your midi (and pitch/mod) from your DAW via Ext Instrument and monitor/audio record back in.

I can send the midi and audio back with Logic. Any Reason owner from 7-9 could use the External Midi Instrument as well, to use web-Europa.

Agreed I changed it back, I think there is a error in the Props method. I am an Admin and could only authorise by changing everyone.

I think the Maschine user library path is different to KK so you need to add that manually in options then rescan

How do I find this VST to download?
I upgraded to Reason 10 on the 9/5

I have used the thing as the native device,
the pulsewidth mode/shifting seemed nice to me, pulse is my fav basic shape
