Hey there! Stefan from Propellerhead here again. I just wanted to clarify one thing that Lars got wrong:

All Reason 10 owners get Europa by Reason VST/AU.

Upgrade to Reason 10, and you will get Europa VST. Buy Reason 10 full version, and you will get Europa VST.

You could consider Europa by Reason VST/AU to be a part of Reason 10, so if you get Reason 10, you also get the VST/AU. Period.

Thanks. Really bummed that this doesn't work in some versions of Cubase. I'm sure getting it to work in 7 is a long shot since the version is so old at this point.

Have you tried adjusting the GUI size? That's what made it blow up for me?

Pretty much no Mac software comes with an uninstaller (good thing in some respects, I don't trust the things)

In case you hint to uninstallers leaving files on the system: In the very most cases, they just leave user files, which could be useful when you happen to re-install the software, and don't have to start with a blank sheet again, when you tweaked the settings, or created a lot of user content. Don't see the issue though. A quick search will uncover every potential location which still could contain the respective program's files.

No just I prefer to control what gets deleted and what doesn't. Mac apps are usually more self contained anyway so can be dragged to trash, if then you still need to search for user or support files then I might as well do that myself anyway.

Just a heads up to anyone who doesn't currently own the FULL version of Reason 10. The free offer only applies to existing Reason 10 owners. Buying new or upgrading now or in the future will not gain you the free VST license for Europa. This information came from Lars at Propellerhead.

I just booted it up to check and yes all the resolutions are working ... Cubase 7.07 is not really happy on my machine in general. I get lock up with other plugins and have migrated older Cubase 7. projects to 7.5 and Cubase 9.5 in some cases. I use an AMD Firepro W4100 workstation graphics card so who knows it could be graphic card related. Sooo many variables.

Cubase 8.5 and 9.5 are very stable on my system.

This is probably just me, but maybe not. I think Europa sounds better (unprocessed) in Reason than it does in Studio One v4 (also unprocessed). Anyone else?

Some peeps said that ReSpire sounds worse in Reason than it sounds as a VST in a VST host. Dunno what to think of it. I also thought that Europa somehow has that typical Propellerhead device sound. But then, that's rather a sound engine thing, than really having to do with host related things.

Those people must be stoned or drinking their own Koolaide. ReSpire sounds identical in Reason as Spire VST does in any other host. Same patches can be phase cancelled, for those who are in doubt. Just adjust the volume (since Reason tends to have it's volume lowered compared to most other DAW), and it's 100% the same.
