That's the idea! To me metel and rokk should always be a bit overblown, slightly ludicrous, and tongue in cheek, so I'm glad if that came through!

LOVE the snare, I'm listening on crappy speakers right now, everything is clear and full of notes, love the pullback in volume a couple minutes in before that ambienty wailing solo kicks in

Mr Slate seems to get a lot bad press round these parts for some reason. I've always found his drums to be excellent for the rokk though.
