Breeze 2 needs a fairly modern CPU so it won't run on older machines. If it is a newish machine, probably worth telling 2C in case their way of identifying a processor isn't working in some cases.5vga wrote:LOL, luckily (or unluckily I guess) I can't get the Breeze 2 demo to load in live on my system so I think I'll pass for now. Something about "can't find a target CPU." Thanks for the info everyone!

Ok, I’m combo-breaking the arp’in puns.
Looks like APD got a few more Arpology serials back in stock.
What’s the general feedback? Worth grabbing for $99? Professional reviews seem pretty positive, but I always value feedback around here.

Would be interesting if it could be used on the NI website during the Symphobia promo.Caine123 wrote:i got a Project SAM voucher $25 for sale if someone wants it, $10?

I’m not THAT much of an EDM guy. I’m gonna listen to some more demo tracks, I just got back home to reliable internet so I can have a better look.
If it’s not sold out already at this point.

Looks like the deal is not on the APD website, but rather on Sample Logic website. A little bit confusing, but a great deal. Arpology accepted...Tappistry wrote:Gamma-UT wrote:If you 'arp on about it enough maybe they'll take steps to sequence something new.cthonophonic wrote:A travesty! I have it. I really like it. For me, my favorite feature is the midi drag-and-drop. It has a lot of deep feature editing, so if you don't like the sound that is arpeggiatted, you can use it on any VST.

Thanks, I put a note in the thread mentioned above. I think my processor should be supported, but will find out. My computer is older but not ancient.Gamma-UT wrote:Breeze 2 needs a fairly modern CPU so it won't run on older machines. I'm planning an update once there's a new mac pro on the market or an osx laptop that supports more 16gb of ram.

If anyone cares...I got it working, it turns out it was a permissions issue on a folder in the root directory.5vga wrote:Thanks, I put a note in the thread mentioned above. I ended up buying it. It's a freaking amazing reverb for the cpu hit. Felt like I needed to say something since I claimed it wasn't working.

I've only just got it - I was on the fence about it for a long time and had a moment of weakness. I'm not wild about a lot of the presets. To my mind, they often lack subtlety and at times sound like an 80s soundtrack, though for things like trailers they are probably good bets - the sound designers seemed to do best on the percussive arps.Feelshallright wrote:I have it. But the arpeggiator itself is pretty well designed and has a lot of flexibility. I like the free-play steps you can use where the instrument feeds through notes you play live while those steps are active, which helps everything sound a lot more fluid.
There's not much control over the sounds being played from the interface itself other than filters etc on the arp steps - they're pretty much the raw samples themselves. However, as well as using the MIDI out, you can bung your own samples in if you have the full Kontakt licence and know your way around. You need to be a bit careful about editing to avoid conflicting with the scripting but you can add some FX and custom modulation. You need to pick the Sound layer in the mapping editor and work there.
There's a very simple wave synth in there as well - just basic single-cycle sine, square etc samples - that can bolster the core sample. These are basically the additional layers you'll see in the mapping editor.

My last purchase (not the latest but the last one ever) from the AudioDeluxe.
After spending not-that-little money over several years, I purchased last week the SigMod, but never got the license.
I have send several emails to AudiDeluxe, and finally got an answer, where AudioDeluxe claimed, that they have sent the license, but my mail doesn´t work. The very same mail to where he sent that message, and which is in my address in the AudioDeluxe account!
They have messed somehow their license delivery system, and now blame customer mail, and all this communication is used via the same email address, which in their books does not work!
I have never noticed any troble with the email over all these years.
I send a new mail, where asked the use that very same email, which obviously work, but never got the reply. The AudioDeluxe policy seems to be, that they read you message about once a week, and reply if they will, no matter how loyal or big customer you are.
One could imagine, that they are eager to keep the customer happy - but no sing of that.
I gave up. After 10 years and several 1000 euros, I will not bother the AudioDeluxe and their "service" people´s valuable time anymore. I have to find other happy vendors, to whom give my money in the future...

This is not the sort of thing the Bargain Threads are supposed to be used for, so there's that.dermage wrote:anyone want me to refer him/her when buying breeze2? will get specials for both uf us
just pm me your email address of your 2caudio account and you will receive your loyalty in no time.
Edit: Did not receive any PMs yet. Really no one with a 2caudio product want an extra $20?

They should be able to re-send the licence via support shouldn't they? Did they give a reason why they can't. It's not as if it's unusual for emails to go astray.Harry_HH wrote:My last purchase (not the latest but the last one ever) from the AudioDeluxe.

Also, have you looked in your account on the website? My last order (at least) has a licence code stored along with the invoice.
However, it's entirely feasible for emails from the same place to not make it through routinely when others do. I had a situation like this with Plugin Alliance some time ago. I got the sales emails but support emails never made it. I wound up having to change the email address on my account to a backup because Dirk wouldn't believe this was possible.
What happens is that the licences may come from a different server and IP address to that used for other purposes because that's where the automated software runs. Your ISP may be blocking that address, possibly because it's been temporarily blacklisted, while emails from the same company make it through unhindered. In PA's case, it looked as though their SPF setting were messed up, at least for a while, but they wouldn't take any notice.
The server that's sending AudioDeluxe's licences appears to be mailgun.net looking at my last order. Is this the same one as that used by customer service?
