Well no, seeing as TAL-Mod is not an Arturia product, it wouldn't be redundant at all :P

I also think TAL-Mod is a lot more fun and more intuitive to program than the synths you've named, with the exception of the SEM V, which is of course very straight-forward.

TAL-Mod is not an emulation of any hardware as far as I know. So, the sound is different and more 'neutral'.

It's also easier to use than Arturia's emulations (ARP 2600v and Modular V). I think it's the easiest modular synth out there and that means faster results, especially with the integrated ARP/Sequencer and the good quality effects :)

The last reason is how easy to change the colours according to your mood today :hihi:
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

More audio examples.

Some Retro, EDM, Ambient and Electronic sounds for Tal-Mod:

First few sounds from TALISMAN, the add-on soundset I'm building for TAL-Mod

Talisman Lounge Tango

Small tip : I've automated -midi Cc- the decay of the amp EV of the ostinato part. It's a sequence patch, but I also used it to make some additional parts by NOT playing the sequence all along, but only a few notes.

Else, it's all Tal-mod, including effects, and StiX on drums.

Another minitrack demo (Chill-Out) in YT so that you can see the names of the presets used. Other demos have been translated into YT videos as well, and you can listen to them on my YT channel.

Lotuzia please read my pm,

I greatly preferred this thread when it contained actual discussion of this synth, and wasn't just an endless stream of advertising for Preset Banks. Especially given that 99% of the point & fun of TAL-Mod is learning to use it yourself instead of just flipping through preset banks :(

Have all the little issues been solved by now?

Yeah .. stop spamming this thread with soundsets
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

Sometimes, sound and music simply say more than words. Or, at least, say different things, in a different way. (Not that I've not talked about tal-mod in this thread, nor greatly contributed to it's current state btw). Imo. Music and sound examples SHOW what Tal-Mod can do : Music, the only real thing. On a side note, they can possibly get attention to a synth. It's not an idea of mine / many people told me that;

Then, presets are, again imo, much more than things you flip thru. There are instruments meant to play, and to perform. And adapt to the track/context. They can inspire people (even the greatest musicians use them). And, on a side note, they are possibly the best way to learn a synth, by deconstructing them. So ....

Now, if you have something great to say about Tal-Mod, it's your turn : just fill the blank spaces.
