Quick setup: If you want to ad an aditional rhythm, for example claps or cowbell or something ...
- when a rhythm is >merged< - how can I "unmerge" it?
or
- is there a way to audition it before final merging?
Thanks!

I don’t think there is, but of course you could always listen to it using another channel and then if you like it just merge it on channel 1. Of course you can just merge it and then use the undo button if you don’t like it.

Unmerging is only available via Undo right after you do that. It's like you'd want to separate a mix into individual tracks after you mix them, it's just a process that cannot really be undone.
That's why I often use multiple rhythms at once, like channel 1 for main rhythm, channel 2 for shakers & tambourines etc.
