Is it just me or is MPE mode not working the way it should?
Using a ROLI Lightpad M (Note Grid (MPE)) in Logic Pro X.

In some contexts, a patch will stop responding when MPE Mode is activated. MIDI is received but it sounds like it’s not the right channel because no sound comes out. Other MPE synths don’t have this problem (Equator, Strobe2, Addiction…).
Also, have yet to find a way to bend the pitch of individual notes. Tried different approaches and it still bends the pitch of all notes played in parallel. Haven’t tried much with CC74 but it didn’t have the intended effect either.
There’s been some discussion of pitch bend, here, and there’s some strangeness in there. It maxes out at 24 semitones (while 48 is the usual range for MPE). But there are some circumstances under which setting my controller and Sektor to 24 semitones doesn’t produce the expected effect, even in non-MPE mode.
The manual hasn’t been much help, for me.

Maybe some other people have been able to make it all work?

No, MPE is completely broken. I wrote to support some time ago, no idea if they even received it. Might be the purchase I have to regret...
You have to set MPE mode, then polyphonic bending works, but no other cc or aftertouch. Cc74 is unknown to Sektor...

Bought this on a whim as it was on sale for $49... just deleted it. Not worth the 4 gigs it takes up IMHO. If you're on a tight budget, maybe its justifiable for the price, but with stuff like Serum out there this is pointless. I was interested in some of the features like being able to modify individual parameters for each voice in unison mode for example... great idea in theory but the sound engine is so terrible I couldn't use it at all. Its sluggish, there's notable aliasing and clicks with the wavetable morphing... kinda inexcusable for a wavetable synth. Full of bugs and also, the presets... meh.

Ugh!

Here’s hoping that Initial Audio updates it. Otherwise, it sounds like a wasted opportunity and a somewhat misleading description (though the official MPE standard was released after Sektor came out).

The other issues with the plugin don’t bother me as much, though they should. But the MPE support is what attracted me. It’s also one of my main reasons not to buy Serum. Sounds like the standard-bearer for modern wavetable synths. But MPE is too much fun and it fits too well with wavetables.

So, at this point, SynthMaster 2.9 is still my favourite MPE-enabled wavetable synth. SynthMaster One for iOS might actually fit my workflow even more. PPG Infinite is very deep and has all sorts of neat features, but it’s a bit complicated.

Thought Sektor would be a “best of both worlds”. Ah, well…

MPE isn't on my list at the moment, I have no controller for that (I wish though!), but is it still missing the ability to put the content folder on a different drive other than C?
