Hello everybody !
I'm in front of a really deep problem.
I use the last version of Waveform and an old Firewire interface, the Onyx 1200F which sounds really great to me.
I'm using the last version of Windows 10 but the last known version of the Onyx 1200F driver, a really old one that seemed functional until here and was last produced for Vista.
My question is, could this old driver be the problem and explain the fact that after a recording pass, some tracks can be delayed on my timeline compared to others.
They are just unusable !
I also noticed that the size of the recorded tracks are not always the same on the hard drive.
I'm in a hurry to read you !
Thanks
Tony

Don't forget to do the "loopback test" when setting up your onyx as the audio interface. Just follow the instructions in the Waveform manual. It's really simple.

Hello Steve !
I do the loopback test every time. Test that is not really always functional.
I know a thread on this forum talks about it.
But it doesn't change anything for me.
The problem remains.
Thanks

Can you try another DAW to see if the problem happens in another DAW? Reaper or Cakewalk by Bandlab?

this points to either the asio-driver or the firewirechip on the computer in use, i'd say.
maybe something related between the two ...

or the interface is faulty itself, regarding the audiostreams of different channels?
