As for Valhalla, I got the Room, VintageVerb and ÜberMod. Didn’t get Plate, as I love Soundtoys’ Little Plate (and the Waves’ AbbeyRoad plates). Neither did I get Shimmer, as Eventide’s Blackhole shines ever so lightly and deeply. Of course, nothing beats Zynaptiq’s Adaptiverb on that front. Sheer cocaine.

I love Blackhole. I did a whole song just after playing around with it. Not much music, some pads, some timpani and vocals. I was happy with the results. My songwriting teacher thought it needed some more actual instruments. I guess the death piano got lost in the reverb.

Someday I will get Zynaptiq's stuff. I eye it every time it is on sale, but it is just above my no brainer price point, and the negative reviews (mostly crashes) tend to sway me away. I really want wormhole and pitchmap.

I find myself primarily using Valhalla ‘verbs and Blue Cat Late Replies (which is arguably more of a delay than a reverb, though it can definitely do reverb sounds). I have Soundtoys 5 as well, but I don’t use Little Plate that much.

that's why you have to keep checking - stuff that's rarely listed can go very quickly. And sellers often edit out their posts removing any hint that it was even listed for sale.
