that's why you have to keep checking - stuff that's rarely listed can go very quickly. And sellers often edit out their posts removing any hint that it was even listed for sale.
Could have sworn I saw Room for sale recently. Keep checking, it’ll pop up sometime.

Not sure why folks would want to ditch Ubermod. It’s such a deep plugin once you learn the way around it. And if you don’t have the time to really dig in, there are tons of premium presets for sale from Synth Presets and other places. And the Valhalla forum here has a great thread full of free presets. Also, it produces one of the best chorus effects around, imo.

There was one not too long ago, but it is gone. I guess they go fast.

So... I realized that PA’s summer sale runs till July 1st, so are they still gonna send out vouchers on that day? If they do, that means waiting two days more will save me a few more bucks.

they usually send the vouchers by day 04 or 05, after the last month promo.

hhuang9611 wrote:@Uncle E: I saw that the NF analogy studio rack is on a great discount, wondering will there be more deals on nomad factory soon? (I am particularly interested in Magnetic and Magma) Thanks!
Thank you for asking. Magnetic goes on sale fairly regularly and the entire Magnetic Bundle is quite good (Cosmos is the most popular plugin from that bundle). Magma usually only goes on sale when Nomad Factory does a big sale on everything and that seems to happen less often. If it helps at all, they tend to announce new sales around the 10th of the month so maybe we'll see something on July 10.

How long is this good for?
I'm glad you asked. It's a very short sale, ending Sunday. I had dinner with Sonarworks in January and they told me they were planning to do fewer sales this year, which has really turned out to be true because I think this is only their first or second sale of the year.

I've seen them being used in the studio years ago (Renaissance Comp, L1-L2), but I wonder with the more recent plugins that I own now (list in my post above), are they still worth it? Or is it just a "standard" due to their popularity for many years? I mean, I don't need to exchange projects with studios, so I don't need to adhere to any standard.
IMO, you are correct on all points. The only oldie that I still see big names rave about it is the L1 and even that they're usually using for vocals, not for mastering as it was originally intended.

When adding effects to a sound, it's not uncommon to want to apply these effects to just a certain part of the frequency range. For example, you might not want a complex chorus to affect your bass too much, or a hard distortion to totally fry your high end. Either way, multiband processing adds a dimension to effect chains that really opens up a new world of options in sound design. Multipass helps you with this, allowing you to split the input sound into up to 5 easily tweakable frequency bands and applying unlimited number of effects to each band. Pitch shifted auto pan with a filtered chorus delay distortion? Coming right up!
Love these Kilohearts guys. Multipass is a great tool to go deep and wide.

I really like the idea of processing different frequency bands differently, but with Multipass I believe the catch is you can only process different bands using Kilohearts plugs??

Anyone try Fluffy Audio's TimeDrops? Looks kind of interesting, especially because you can use your own samples. Close to no-brainer price at VSTBuzz at $34, but I am concerned it will be another one of those things that sounds like a good idea, but is too much work to make sound good, so I don't use it.

I have it but haven't tested yet. I'll report back if I get a chance tonight.
