I already posted this in the Music Cafe, but I guess people here might enjoy it too.

It's just one instance of ACE with a tiny little bit of "mixing" and some Ubermod at the last few seconds.

ACE doesn't seem to get much love around here, but I love it! It allows for a lot of experimentation, while still being limited enough to be inspiring, in my opinion. I love how organic it can sound and how seamlessly it can go from very tame to completely wild.

I used the mapper as a bad approximation of a multi stage envelope here. I love the "grain" the low resolution of the mapper adds to the sound. The filters on the edge of self oscillation also sound lovely and add even more character to the sound.

I love this synth!

It's good, I like it. I like the sounds. Stands out like a performance, in a way. Keeps the interest going. Quite good.

I like one patch wonders. This is really great. I really like how it opens up about 2/3rds of the way in, too.

Yeah, one patch wonders can sometimes be fun. It's really cool when an idea like the whole "mapper as volume envelope" just turns out sounding great (at least I hope it did) and leads to a more and more complex patch.
