F**k Europian Union legislation!Musicians Friend had plenty of time to get compliant with GDPR. Plenty of other, much smaller American companies that we know here on KVR like Kazrog, Goodhertz, etc. beat them to the punch months ago. The "Stupid deal of a day" was never accessible to European customers. I always needed to use a VPN when traveling overseas.

Yep, they've released two of the new products that are most likely going to be in K12 so they are probably making that final push to clear out old inventory.winn3r wrote:K12 coming soon

For anyone (or, uh, anyone in the U.S., I guess?) who still wants DDLY from Musician's Friend, it looks like all the hourly deals are "extended," such that you can still add them to your cart and get the sale price.

How´s the odds of Sugar Bytes doing some kind of "summer sale" these days? Iirc, their last sale was around christmas, so it would be about time for another one...
@Uncle E - any insider knowledge on whether I better postpone my planned Sugar Bytes purchases for a bit?

Do we read anything into this sale running till Sept 5? I would assume they wouldn't release new product while previous version was still on sale...but that's just me guessing.

- Sale on Komplete
- Announcement of new Komplete after the sale ends
- Release of new Komplete a month after the announcement
Examples:
- Komplete 9 sale: From July 3 to August 31, 2014
- Komplete 10 announcement: September 2, 2014
- Komplete 10 release: October 1, 2014
- Komplete 10 sale: From June 1 to July 31, 2016
- Komplete 11 announcement: August 1, 2016
- Komplete 11 release: September 1, 2016
So, I guess that they will announce Komplete 12 in September, and release it in October.

If you are producing electronic music and struggle with creating the right beat a bit (like I do), you should check out the new uJam Beatmaker plugins. They are absolutely awesome.
https://www.ujam.com
uJam sells them at an intro price of $99 each (down from $129) on their site, but you can get them cheaper from 3rd party retailers. They are $89 at PB and T+S. And if you are not in the EU and don't have to pay VAT, you can choose GBP as your currency at T+S checkout which brings it further down to about $83 (depending on your foreign transaction fees and actual exchange rate). Plus you get loyalty points at PB and T+S.
