The "Stupid deal of a day" was never accessible to European customers. I always needed to use a VPN when traveling overseas.

Musicians Friend had plenty of time to get compliant with GDPR. Plenty of other, much smaller American companies that we know here on KVR like Kazrog, Goodhertz, etc. beat them to the punch months ago. How stupidly lazy of MF.

Yep, they've released two of the new products that are most likely going to be in K12 so they are probably making that final push to clear out old inventory.

Do we read anything into this sale running till Sept 5? I would assume they wouldn't release new product while previous version was still on sale...but that's just me guessing.

The usual timeline is:
- Sale on Komplete
- Announcement of new Komplete after the sale ends
- Release of new Komplete a month after the announcement

Examples:
- Komplete 9 sale: From July 3 to August 31, 2014
- Komplete 10 announcement: September 2, 2014
- Komplete 10 release: October 1, 2014

- Komplete 10 sale: From June 1 to July 31, 2016
- Komplete 11 announcement: August 1, 2016
- Komplete 11 release: September 1, 2016

So, I guess that they will announce Komplete 12 in September, and release it in October.

If you are producing electronic music and struggle with creating the right beat a bit (like I do), you should check out the new uJam Beatmaker plugins. They are absolutely awesome.
