Long auto save

Greetings,

I've been working with Tracktion for a year and just recently I've noticed that after every overdub there is rather long save time of a minute or two after stopping the recording. I'm using multiple instances of Absynth to overdub on a single audio track. In the past I've had multiple audio tracks and vst instruments and reason running happily together. Any ideas what may be causing this?

I'm using a a dell 5100 and an echo indigo...

Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks in advance...
