Well, people said they'd pay 30 or 40 bucks for the Lyrebird effect in Repro - which has not overly much to offer, other than sound. But now we turned it into a highly competitive product. Maybe CoCo is for those who haven't yet shelled out hundreds of bucks for the common boutique solutions.

Thing is, maybe u-he has reached a size and popularity where every new release is expected to be The New Thing That Pleases Everyone. But that's not who we are, that's the mainstream we compete with - not despite the odds and quircks but because of them.

(That said, our customer reviews suggest that concepts like Colour Copy are in high demand among our crowd)

Here's what classic Ping Pong delay looks like:

Note that, for mono input you don't need crossing feedback
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Another observation:
I'm having a lot of fun automating the panic button. It allows you to do some cool effects chopping off delay tails where you would have theoretically needed multiple delay instances (or taps). In any case, I'm noticing that when the panic button is released it takes a short while for the delay to open up again so... feature or bug? It would be nice if it recovered immediately even at the risk of clicking.

But it must not be mono input for a Ping Pong? Stereo input and cross feedback has the similar effect?

Btw. it sounds a bit different than a ping pong delay... first 4 bars with Replika and the next 4 bars with Color Copy:

This means it's confirmed it will be a Linux version, right? Only thing left to be announced is the date when it will be available?

EDIT: I see Abique has already put out a beta so I guess that's all the confirmation I need.

Purchased!

And thanks for the continuous Linux support.

You don't have to set it to mono, but you can.
It's rather difficult to hear in that example, but the only difference I can hear is the colour of the delay, which would be expected.

Usually, ping pong delays are set up like this:

But in Colour Copy you don't have to do it that way.

Either way is right, but mine is "less work" and taps are set relative to dry source :-p

Ohh yeah, I just wanted to show the difference between you common garden variety delay and colour copy. Using your method it's very easy to get true stereo ping pong, which usually isn't all that easy.

One channel as mono input sounds for me a bit better. The question is: is it possible to sound exactly like a digital ping pong delay or does it need some extra/internal "mode" for this?

The modulation is interesting... there is no real tempo sync yet, right?

Playing a bit with it...

Don't think tempo sync will happen for this one.
