Ping Pong is just a method of routing two delay channels, doesn't really matter if the delay lines work like a digital or like a BBD / tape. So it doesn't really have much to do with sound.

Here is a fairly clean ping pong delay preset.

I'm just spending some more time with Colour Copy and I really like it so far! Great job again, guys!

I didn't even thought about that one. So there is the third method of getting a PingPong, cross feedback and time offset. (I think CoCo manages ping pong sounds then. :D )

Me too but after demo-version, I don't find where we can insert the serial number, after .

apparently on the pc it is as simple as right clicking the preset lcd area, on mac sadly it seems you have to delete a specific file.
someone mentioned which earlier.

On Mac, go to the user library application support folder (/Users/username/Library/Application Support/u-he). In this u-he folder, there is a file called com.u-he.ColourCopy.plist, it holds the beta tester serial. Delete this plist file, then start your host, load ColourCopy (which will now be in demo-mode again), and you can enter your serial number.

Tas was faster.

I assume there is a technical reason why right click over preset lcd area doesn't work for mac as it does pc?

Probably by design, but figured I'd mention it just in case: Color modes 1, 2, 4, and 5 seem to have both HP and LP filters built into the feedback path but in mode 3, the LP filter is absent. So in mode 3 the sound gets brighter as brightness increases beyond 12 o'clock, but it doesn't actually get darker when you cut it down below 12 o'clock like the other modes.

I also had something weird that I haven't been able to reproduce yet, but I somehow ended up in a situation where changing the delay base-time setting wasn't immediately updating the ms number in the top-right portion of the green display. Not sure if anyone else saw this, or maybe there are some known conditions where this can happen. If I can figure out how to reproduce, I'll post back.

It's not absent, just a bit better hidden. ;) In colour 3, the routing is changed slightly internally. The filter in colour 3 is just affecting the Feedback while the filter in the other colours also affects the first echo.

I thought I wouldn't need this. I thought I had enough delay plugins. I was wrong. CoCo is alive in ways my other BBD delay plugins are not. Great job everyone at U-He!

Ah that's sneaky, I figured there had to be something else going on. I was listening with the mix at 100% and feedback at 0 to get a feel for what each colour mode really sounds like and how the brightness control interacts with each mode (very different resonance values in those filters depending on the mode). It was an interesting listen but now you've gone and thrown a wrench in that whole listening approach!

Post

Someone very wise suggested to me the way to listen is indeed mix at 100% but taps at 0% to hear what the colour modes sound like...
