Yes, you're right on this. I thought I'd swapped VST3 for VST2, but I was still on 3. Gonna have another play now that I can render stuff out!tasmaniandevil wrote:No idea why it would cut out with the VST2 version, but there is a reason for this to happen in the VST3 version.Steve Helstrip wrote:For some reason, the regen/feedback has started cutting out randomly in my Cubase 9.5 session in Cubase, both vst2 and vst3 versions. I'm sure you're onto this, but thought I'd give it a mention. Alas, cannot use as it is...
Go to Cubase preferences > VST > plugins.
There is an option called "Suspend VST3 plug-in processing when no audio signals are received".
If this is active, then Cubase will kill the audio after a few seconds of inactivity.
If you want to use the VST3 version, I'd definitely recommend disabling this preference setting.
If this wasn't the cause for the issue, then please contact our support, so we can figure it out. We might need some more details about the problem.

Are you maybe using very short delay times?NAD wrote:In any case, I'm noticing that when the panic button is released it takes a short while for the delay to open up again so... feature or bug? It would be nice if it recovered immediately even at the risk of clicking.
We had to smooth the Panic button to avoid clicks, so there is a very short fade when you press the button. But this might only be noticed if one is using delay times like 0.01s or so.
Maybe we can make the fade a bit shorter, but I can't promise anything.

It works the same on Mac and Win. Click the main display and choose 'enter serial number'. But once a user has entered the beta serial, the option won't be displayed anymore.zvenx wrote:I assume there is a technical reason why right click over preset lcd area doesn't work for mac as it does pc?

Did not experience this issue yet.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:I also had something weird that I haven't been able to reproduce yet, but I somehow ended up in a situation where changing the delay base-time setting wasn't immediately updating the ms number in the top-right portion of the green display.
If you find a way to reproduce it, please lemme know.
Update: Ha, I think I found out why this can happen.
If the host stops processing audio, then it won't update the milliseconds display until the host continues to process.
E.g. in Cubase, if you are using the VST3 version and have the already mentioned "stop plugin processing with no audio input" activated.
Or in Reaper, as long as there are no tracks in the project, and the plugin resides on the master track, with the host not playing.

The rate knob acts the same, no matter if you move it with the mouse, or if you are using a MIDI CC control, or automate it in your host.GalbE wrote:Am I correct in finding that the Rate knob (or more correctly the Rate function) behaves differently when edited on screen with the mouse versus controlled by CC learn?
And the pitch shift is always just momentarily, as long as the rate value is changed.
Afaik, the sample rate is only changed for the delay path when turning the rate knob, this is not affecting the dry signal at all.
What host and MIDI controller are you using?
If the MIDI CC changes the pitch of the dry signal permanently, there is only one idea I have:
Could it be that the same CC control is also assigned to the pitch of the synth/instrument you are feeding into ColourCopy?
So that while you turn the rate knob of ColourCopy, the pitch of the synth is changed at the same time?

I only tried it with FL Studio 12.5 and FL Studio 20, and it works fine in both.experimental.crow wrote:in FLS 12.2 , build 3 , 32bit :

Can you maybe update to a newer version of FL Studio and try again?
Or just try to load ColourCopy again in FL 12.2.
FL Studio is a bit weird at times, sometimes spitting out the wildest errors, and then suddenly working fine again the next minute.

Sorry, but the favourites are saved in the preset database file of the user, thus it's not possible to save them with a soundset.dlarseninclusive wrote:Can you save favorites with a sound bank?

I think if you name them after songs or bands people will naturally assume "oh, this is an emulation of the delay effect in Purple Rain" or "weird, I don't really associate Deep Purple with delays, I wonder what song that's referencing." Generic color names, fruits, or numbers, avoid that.
Heck, even "blue" plus "bucket brigade" makes me think "Boss CE-2 chorus BBD," so I kind of like the idea of fruit names as someone here already suggested.

Yese, and because my list in the page 1 refer to the fruits, one may think that the preset makes him a fruit...Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:I think if you name them after songs or bands people will naturally assume "oh, this is an emulation of the delay effect in Purple Rain" or "weird, I don't really associate Deep Purple with delays, I wonder what song that's referencing."
