...what this is all about:

http://www.kvraudio.com/news/compositor ... isor-41881

35 years of professional work in Computer Science did not prepare me for this description. :) The company website does not help either. I am assuming the software is doing something useful, given how expensive it is. But what exactly remains a mystery to me.

Maybe somebody who speaks Russian (I am assuming) can help this guy with the translation. I would be particularly interested to learn what a "tunable polynomial" is. ;)

Russians and English. It often doesn't mix very well.

I got nothing. At first I thought maybe it was some audiophile snake oil thing, but upon rereading and looking at the interface I don't think that's the case.

edit: Upon viewing their website and the extensive description of one of their products I'm even more baffled. Something about artificial intelligence and sending wavetables over ethernet and securing hardware on your network???

These texts are strangely meditative, almost philosophical.

It can "uncross the wavetable loop", so... respect.

Aside from life of a KVR dweller, I've been working as a translator specialist for years now. Have no idea either. Good thing I'm not the only one :hihi:

Let's decipher this... The first paragraph seems to describe some sort of streaming software with browser and DRM, the second - transcoding. However "wavetables" indicates more of a synth and so does the interface.

If someone speaks Russian, they should be able to "back-translate" the auto-translation into Russian, and then provide an actual translation on that basis. I can do this with German, but my Russian is non-existent.

Far as I can tell it's some sort of watermarking DRM tool for streaming.

I have no idea what this is about, but I feel a lot smarter after reading things about this product.

I get the feeling it’s a streaming service that sells your tracks on the dark web.

Hopefully some brave soul will take the plunge and let us know. At € 1,140 a pop, it's not like there's anything to lose.

I saw the ad yesterday and thought the same thing - the blurb is just gobbledegook

The dropdowns remind me of Synthmaker...
