Protection scheme for MPowerSynth

Would it be possible to relax it a little ? So it it's possible to immerse a bit more into the sounds and evaluate them, try a few synthesis options, etc ... ? As it is now it's quite disturbing I find. And also enable all notes.

Also, I would like to know what will be the relation of MPowerSynth towards the upcoming MYYY. Will MPowerSynth retain any uniqueness ?

I don't follow, what do you mean? The trial has no limits. But of course if it expires, then it's done. You can try on a different computer. The protection scheme here is actually most likely the loosest in the world , besides all the goodies for owners, if you just want to test it, it provides a full 15 days trial and after that it actually keeps working! Just limited.

Well, the trial is way over. So there's noise, some notes will not play. The problem is that when I discovered the Melda plugins I installed a whole bunch at a time. Now many of them have their trial time expired. I do not mind much about the noise for the ones I still have to discover well, MCharacter, MUnison and such, but with a synth, it's a bit more annoying.

About MYYY, not certain. I read here and there that it would be a modular synth. I think it has to do with my understanding of MXXX so here's a question about MXXX: Is MXXX like having all the other Melda plugins ? Is it possible to replicate a MXXX 'sound' by using the same separate plugins ? Does MXXX provide something additional on its own ? Or in other words, if I end up having all Melda plugins except MXXX, will MXXX give something additional ?

That's where my question on MYYY/MPowerSynth comes from: will MYYY be including the exact same sounds that MPowerSynth can do ? Or in a very naive customer way: should I simply wait for MYYY to show up ?

I understand, unfortunately it is just the way it is. Copy protection is a b*** sadly...

As for MYYY, I'm afraid you got very very philosophical... With enough effort you can do anything! E.g. you asked if in case you have everything, will MXXX give you something more? From this point of view no, because you can program your own host, that would somehow do all of that. Well, probably can't, since you wouldn't be able to sync modulators for example... So, no, MXXX will always give you more . Then there's the workflow etc... Unfortunately don't have the hour to try to enumerate stuff you cannot do without it .

MYYY vs MPowerSynth - first, who knows when MYYY will be finished, if you'd wait for everything, you'd never buy anything . Will if be including everything from MPowerSynth, no idea. Probably, I hope so . But no idea... MPS also has about 1500 presets, which probably won't be ported, but again no idea... It's the beginning, and the end is far and unknown .
