Hello folks. I am new to T6. I like many things about it, except the tiny text on some buttons. Not everything has tiny text so I'll show you:

This kind of button stays relatively tiny no matter what font I choose on the settings tab. I've also tried changing DPI settings on windows but it doesn't seem to affect Tracktion.

So is there anything I can do to make the text in such buttons bigger?

thanks in advance
How come I never get notified in any way about topics I started myself? I don't see any option in the preferences to auto subscribe to my topics. Do I have to manually subscribe or bookmark every topic I make? srsly what am I missing?

Take a look at this. This is even tinier. I cannot make out what it says there.

This isn't possible in T6.
However in W9 we have added a way to scale the whole interface so everything appears larger.

Pity, but thanks for the clarification.
W9?? How about Tracktion 7?

You can change the font in T6, but not really make it bigger (although some may be slightly more legible).
Settings - General Behavior - Font

T6 also would let you play with color schemes; but you can shoot yourself in the foot there, and select things like grey shading with grey text; or orange text on red background.

Unfortunately that's unlikely I'm afraid. It will almost certainly only go in to W9.

I'm using T6 since it was available for free.
My approach is kind of a dedicated environment for mixing. It has to be a notebook, 2.6GHz x 4 kernels, very fast harddrive, good but simple soundchip.
Thus the screen is permanently set to 1600x900 and I can use T6 and the internet browser and MS-Outlook.
I have often 80 tracks anyway, so no screen will ever be sufficient, and with T6 a higher resolution makes very little difference in track navigation.
Just saying, this works for me.

Sounds like you need a new huge screen.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

I need a huge upgrade for one of my eyes, hahaha.
but that's an interesting idea, a screen with bigger pixels would make everything bigger without having to mess with any softwares settings.

I switched to T7 though and the interface is so much better! Text is very legible compared to T6

Interesting you say this, we got a fair number of complaints with the T7 text, people preferring the T6 text...

Any reason you've moved to T7 rather than W9, the latest edition of the DAW?
