hi just wondering what is the process of Tracktion considering the method it handles wav files while recording? I use adobe audition and I'm wondering would tracktion have a considerably reliable and easy way to record for instance live concert files? Can someone help me out?

Not sure what your question is. I'm probably not the only one considering you've had no answer so far. In any case, I demoed Audition a while back and recording in Tracktion is pretty much similar if only more straightforward, just select the input for each track and press r; but you probably know that already so what is your question exactly?

I think the question is, does Tracktion record to RAM, or to disk - the point being, if it's recording to RAM and crashes, you lose the recording, which is not good for live work!

The answer: Tracktion records direct to disk.

Having said that, if you're looking for a foolproof way to record a concert on a low budget, my advice is to hook up a VCR. You can buy a good-quality stereo VCR for next to nothing these days, and get tapes up to five hours, which should be more than enough for most concerts.

well audition records to a TEMP file, somehow different from a direct to .wav file. in between songs say during 1 hour concert, it takes about 10-20 mins to "save" it
