Dont see a thread for feature requests so....
I know the primary target for Waverazor is sound designers who likely dream of 500 parameters to twiddle and modulate, but Waverazor needs a tiered random button system. The demo only has like a dozen presets. Actually, I think all the Tracktion instruments could use this. Increases the immediacy and provides motivation for pushing through any learning curve.

Taiho and I have been chatting about various Randomize features for a long time, and we definitely intend to put something like this in there. I agree with the 'tiered' idea, as Randomizing the controls on the main screen would be useful and straightforward. That would be separate from a randomizer of the 1000's of parameters in the editor where the chances would be low that you'd get anything useful from that, which is why we're still pondering how randomization in the editor would work in a useful way.
For the record, there are currently 26 factory presets and over 200 factory templates included in Waverazor.
Cheers! - Rob

thanks for the response....good to know....I must admit as a laymen its a lil counter intuitive that randomizing the editor has a low probability of generating something "useful" or at least interesting, for if the synth's sweet spot is that narrow seems there wouldn't be a need for 1000s of parameters....but I trust you....tiered randomizing with locking seems like it would get you to understanding the architectures impact on resulting sound....and happy accidents could be studied and reverse engineered for future speed in patch design....I will revisit the demo as I didn't notice that much content back when I played with it.

I can't figure out how to open the contextual editor. I looked through the manual but can't find mention of how.
thanks for any tips!
