Have thought about doing a 7/8 beat track a while now. Settled on a pretty simple Miles Davis-inspired arrangement with a few different soloists improvising over the chords but occasionally breaking things up with a more rigid theme over the chorus part.

Hope you enjoy!

 Don't know what to say.

Regarding your submission if I may. All instruments you have here occupied almost same frequency range. Even bass you have there starting at 0:18 is in same freq range as your pad. Try to put more low frequencies on that bass and cut some mid that interfere with that pad. The same goes for pluck. Try to make some space for them even in frequency range.

Nice entry but this lead you have here unpleasantly resonates starting at 0:03 and same at 0:50. Same preset sound better octave higher at 1:23. Try to play with formant range and spread to tame those resonnaces. But it may very hard to remove them without affecting that sound. It may become completely different in the end.

Yup drums are hard on this one. No noise and no filters = hard to get nice percussions.
Some nice tracks you have on your soundcloud. :tu:

Can confirm- using FL version 12.5.1 with scrooo 1.2.3

The Techno Aliens battle the Bass Music Zombies in a great revenge battle (The history books tell the story of the first fight that took place in OSC 102) somewhere in the universe.
The sounds you're able to listen to is actually the only fragements of recordings of the battle field that reached earth. No more recordings reached earth after that. We still hope our source was not abassinated. Thus don't expect any kind of song...the battle was about sound...soundscapes...bass weapons...and impact.

Wow that's a very cool submission! I'm trying to go for something that would fit in the Unreal/ UT games, your track would certainly work with that :)

Many thanks, EscapeControl :tu:

Can anyone help me with some percussion recipes? So far I can produce only weak and inconsistent kick and sort of bell sound :( It is really hard to predict the outcome of any tweaks for me. Even by using presets as starting point. Synth without any filter is really a challenge for me.
