Brickwall within MXXX

I've tried every combination of limiter, dynamics type modules I could find in every way I could think of, but so far, no combination of zero attack, lookahead, infinite ratio, ceiling/threshold is doing it. Often, I'm seeing signal peaks of 4dB or more above the desired ceiling despite all controls resembling full brickwall mode.

If I want to insert a module such that NOTHING passes above a given threshold (with no knee), exactly which module in which configuration can accomplish this?

Here are the settings I use. As you can see from the image the input is HUGE. However, the output will not exceed 0db.
This is what you want, right?

Yeah. Problem is, I've been doing that within MXXX, and it's still not brickwalling. I can measure signal exceeding the ceiling on output.

I will set up a new MXXX instance doing nothing else just to make sure I'm not missing something in the routing of the currently problematic one. I was mid-build when I noticed the issue, so it's not a streamlined test case.

Ahhhh... yep.

A buddy of mine is developing a multi-analysis plug, and I had that still activated. Looks like it was having a stroke. Stripping everything down and retesting shows it's not the limiter module at fault.

My fault. Didn't think to check that.
