Hi all!
I think implementing this would better help in analyzing the relationship between the tracks, dial in compression sidechain an be more pleasing to the eyes in general.
Hope you consider this.

Sure.
I mean that the waveform snaps to a grid. Say i choose 1/16th - the waveforms refresh rate is 1/16th, 1 bar - same as above.
The way things are right now, waveforms lose sync with each other.

I think I understand. I was quite surprised to find how limited the waveform display is given the depth of the FFT tools. I kept looking though the toolkit to see if a dedicated waveform analysis tool went by another name.
I ended up purchasing another analyzer just for the waveform display due to the issue the OP brings up.
To really test any dynamics changes you're making accurately without the workflow grinding to a halt pretty much requires the following characteristics:
1) Waveform is stationary
2) Waveform window conforms to tempo increments (1 bar, 1 beat, etc)
3) Cursor scrolls and redraws over old waveform so next downbeat redraws on top of the last one (in the case of 1 bar window) etc.
This particular combination of features is so powerful, it hardly seems worthwhile at all doing waveform analysis without them now that I've seen how much more accurately and quickly they allow me to make judgements.

Unfortunately this is rather problematic. Let's just say the multiplugin intercommunication is a bit obscure area, that's why nobody does that, and the plugins actually cannot tell if the current "situation" even lets them sync, not even thinking about the actual sync, which could lead to a complete DAW freeze if the "situation isn't right".
Anyways I suppose you found a plugin, that just has a sidechain. There the sync is doing by the DAW and you can actually do that in any Melda plugin, which has sidechain and meters - just show timegraphs with both input and sidechain and I think the syncing is there too.

There's 2 issues here, though. Backchannel communication aside, there's the issue of the features and readability of waveform displays.
Oscarizor has no problem working as I described. Just loop a bar, set the window to match the loop length, and hit play. The waveform is rock steady visually, and simple to read in intimate detail. Successive passes just redraw on top of the old one making it an absolute breeze to dial in dynamic processing visually. It makes a world of difference. Seriously, I don't know how anyone even bothers trying to judge dynamic processes without this. That style of visual presentation easily allows several times more detail to be gleaned with minimal effort.
Oscarizor also does the synced multianalysis thing as well, though that's a whole other can of worms I know much less about, and I haven't used that feature, so I can't speak to it's effectiveness.

Then you know what an amazing difference it makes.
I just wish (for purely visual reasons) there was a smoothing mode that basically just made it more solid by connecting peaks. Just personal preference if I want to judge the dynamic shape without looking at every tiny spike since the existing smoothing modes do averaging and are thus not suited. I woudn't want that for a default, mind you... I'd just like the option. of a more solid look that still accurately portrays peaks (like FF Pro-L)
There's also a slight drift when using the sync modes if the window size doesn't match the loop length. For instance, if I'm viewing 1 bar, and listening to 1 bar, it works flawlessly, but if viewing 1 bar, and listening to 8 bars, it just slightly drifts to the right on each redraw. Not sure why, but it's still infinitely more valuable than trying to do any sort of critical work with something that doesn't have a solid, stable, image refreshed by tempo settings.

Haven't used that yet, though that whole concept of multiple channels listening and reacting to each other is where I see the most interesting plugin development happening over the next decade. I'm not a dev, though, so don't know the details. I suspect it may require some advances in DAW architecture before the really amazing stuff can be rolled out.
