Just a follow up, the answer to this question is "no". If you own the license of the classic channel it will show up a folder in ilok and then components (EQs and Comp) will be withing that folder. This is the license for the entire channel. You can't use a license upgrade for part of it. You have to buy the upgrade to the whole channel. If the cost of the EQ upgrade is $15, the cost for the whole channel upgrade is $80, so the compressor upgrade is $65US. It's up to you if it's worth it. I discovered that the EQs are moderately tweeked. But the compressor is a complete re-code of it and apparntely is much closer to the hardware and hence has more of the sound of the hardware (taken from posts on gearslutz with personal opinions from people who have both the hardware and the mk2 and compared them).

I gave in and grabbed the audioplugin.deals Frozen Plain bundle. It seemed too cool for $10 bucks a piece. Good stuff. And yes, I'm still addicted and still have GAS. I just don't post much anymore nor purchase like I used to. Yes, I'm still miffed at Slate sales department and so still not buying from them.

Yes. I'm getting cranky and holding grudges the older I get it seems...

To answer the question about Waves. I wrote them two days ago and this is their reply:

"Waves Abbey Road Collection registers as single plugins in your account. This is normal due to our agreement with Abbey Road Studios. When additional Waves Abbey Road plugins are added to the line, you will have the option to add them at a special introductory price. You are welcome to purchase it separately for the current special intro price of $29, if you wish to own it.

Alternatively, you can upgrade to the current Abbey Road Collection (including Chambers) at the "Upgrade" section of your Waves account. This will not only add the Chambers, but one year of Waves Update Plan for your Abbey Road plugins (from the day of the upgrade)

Nice reply! Waves has really stepped up their game. That's the nicest, most well written complete answer ever from them or most companies. I'm going to grab the update to my collection as my WUP is expired. It's only a few dollars more and who knows... maybe they'll add another plugin before it runs out again.. Probably not.

So I heard back from Sinevibes today:

"Yes, we might have Windows-compatible plugins in the future."

At a minimum, it sounds like they're at least planning on it.

Hey Uncle E, I was wondering if the recent change from USD to EURO on the official u-he website is also going to affect the pricing for their products on JRRShop. Will the current USD prices be rising or staying the same? They've just listed their products on the KVR shop with the old USD pricing, so I doubt it will change elsewhere, but I was wondering.

They haven't yet changed US prices. It's possible that this might change in the future.

The Audioplugin deals shop is a confusing mess though - I've had $20 in rewards for ages but every time I try and spend it on something I get told 'You cannot use more than $0.00 in rewards money' so it never gets used. Wanted to use it on the Frozen Plain bundle

You can only use rewards in the shop, not on the weekly/fortnightly deals, you can find the info on the "how it works" section of their rewards page.

Has anyone tried to reach out to kiloHearts lately? I sent in a support request for a license transfer about 4 days ago and haven't heard anything.

I looked at their subforum, and latest post from anyone related to the company was made back in June.

I seem to remember being told we can't sell other EastWest Upgrades but I will ask.
