I am having trouble these days using Virsyn's Poseidon in Waveform 9.2.1. The issues began after an upgrade to Windows 10 v1803. In waveform, it glitches. Constantly, on midi-note on, on all patches. It relaxes and sounds the tail when the note-off is sent. I don't have this problem in the standalone for Poseidon or in other DAWs, so I think it has it has something to do with Windows and Waveform. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the daw, the plug, the asio drivers. Any ideas?

w9.2.6 does not improve the situation. So far, the only troublesome plug I've found in Poseidon, but, as I say, it works fine in other daws.

Thesys crashes the whole thing regularly now, too.

I don't have Poseidon, so I can't test this on my W10 / 1803 laptop.

For what it's worth, 1803 resolved a major issue for me in W9, which was certain VSTs crashing when opening their GUI. My post on this issue: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=505006

I sincerely wish you luck in finding a resolution, in that resolving these Windows update related issues can be a nightmare. I was doing the happy dance when I learned of 1803 resolving the VST crashing issue, yet it could well have been otherwise...

Just a stupid idea , did you try booting the computer one extra time after the update rebooted ... Sometimes this solves issues for me .

I reboot windows computers for a living, a lá Dogbert: “Shut up and reboot! Shut up and reboot! What’s that? It’s fixed? You’re welcome!”
And no, no better. Something between windows 1803, Waveform 9, and Poseidon. I don’t have the problem in Poseidon stand-alone, Cantabile, or IL Minihost.
