I've asked for this before, other people have asked for this before... I've had two instances today alone where i could have used this... so I'm putting in another request for this.

A button somewhere on the edit page that resets all controls to default, removes all multiparameters, removes all modulators, resets crossovers to 1 band. Bonus points if it can reset the plugin to your chosen default settings.

For multiband plugins you can almost reset things by selecting 1 in 'create default bands' in the crossover window... but that will not remove multiparameters or modulators, which are a pain to reset if there are a lot. You can also create a 'default' preset, but there are now 100 Melda plugins, I'm not doing that for all of them. Also, the plugin already knows your preferred default plugin settings ('set default settings' in the settings window)... all we need is a button somewhere.

Can I get a few +1's in here to maybe convince Vojtech :)

Thanks

[Settings} >> [Set default settings] is only 2 clicks away ;)

Sorry, I want to RESET my settings, I don't understand why you posted about setting the default... I'm aware of that (it was mentioned in the original post). Unless I'm missing something?

As for A-H slots, well, who's to say they have nothing in them or that they have default settings?

Right now, the quickest and most definitive way to reset is to remove and re-add the plugin.

Oops - I confused myself  My apologies.

I do tend to create a "neutral" preset. Then load it into Slot H and [Set default settings]. Then I can copy H to one of the others whenever I want.

Tip: Shift+click on the Paste clipboard button below A...H pastes the clipboard into all 8 slots.

No worries! :)

Yeah, the problem as I said in the OP was that there are a LOT of plugins, I dont want to have to make defaults for every one, especially when the plugin already knows what your preferred 'default state' is.

Hmmm, why don't you simply load Default preset? Anyways I could use reset for all multiparameters myself, instead of clicking all of them...

I've found some plugins didn't have a default preset. I'll try and figure out which ones, but there are so many! :)

I think there may be exceptions indeed. Anyways you can always save some yourself ;)
