Timestretch MIDI Clip?

I am running Waveform 8 in Ubuntu Linux 18.04.

I have copied/pasted a MIDI clip from one project to another, and I need the midi clip to be half the speed it was in the project I copied it from (i.e., timestretch it to twice its current length). Surely there is a way to do this easily in Waveform? I'm surprised it's not obvious. The hover text on the filled-in arrows on either end of the selected clip state that I can "+alt to timestretch" but nothing happens when I hold down the alt key and pull on the arrow.

That's the right way to do it. Works for me on windows 10. Hold down alt and drag clip.

No kidding. I wonder if this is a bug in the Linux version? I will ask in the Linux thread.

Can you be a bit more specific - there is an unfilled and filled arrow at the leading edge of the clip; you are holding down alt and dragging which arrow? Or dragging the edge? Or does it matter?

Ah, didn't read your question properly. It's the non-filled in arrow not the filled one.
