This would be a killer feature, if you can use other VST audio plugins inside of MXXX.

but I would prefer to use it inside of MXXX.
So you can use the fantastic melda modulation system, multi parameter assignment, fantastic multiband etc ...

In fact, BCA followed the same path with their delay and distortion plugins. The possible combinations become mind-boggling!

However, I already find MXXX mind boggling in its possibilities, so I am not sure Vojtech will want to deal with potential problems caused by misbehaving third party plugins...

IMO, it won't happen for MXXX, as it need a load of kludges to deal with the vagaries of a huge range of third-party plug-ins each implementing the VST spec in their own special way.

But I'd like it too.

no it won't happen because customers would not be forced to buy meldaproduction plugins for mxxx anymore and therefore less sold products. nothing special, simple sales & marketing. don't overinterpret every action as "he's so good, he would do it, but all the other bad and instable plugins won't let him do it"

Exactly! After all why spend the neverending development of 3rd party plugin support, when you already have everything. I'm afraid it's 99% no, sorry folks. After all there are solutions on the market like the Patchwork.

Vojtech If i was you, i would come up with a new product called something like "MPatcher", that product it could be using the MXXX engine but without the melda goodies (other than the necessary ones for routing) and it would support Vst(i)s. I believe that it would be a killer release and it wouldn't conflict with MXXX at all since is another product... That way you bring way more interest and attention to newcomers and opening new doors and endless possibilities to all of us, even a little freeware vst could become a top notch tool inside the "MPatcher" engine...
Also, by doing that i believe all the Waves, UAD, Slate Digital,Fabfilter etc... fanboys would finally be able to see what MeldaProduction is all about, all they do is talking Sh*t about the Melda GUI without even knowing what is going on under the hood . I think would be a win win situation for all of us, you as a company and us as users!!!
