My Maschine Studio is reborn to very useful Bitwig Controller.
All mappings is finished for my Maschine Studio.

Hi Moss

I load a project like in the video

I have a 2 monitor setup , on the left monitor is the clip launcher
on the right monitor is the mixer view

1. on the mixer view I highlight the master volume and put my mouse pointer on the volume fader

so I can turn it down if its to loud

then on the left monitor clip view I can see all my clips

then on my LPP I press the first > to launch that scene

as soon as I do that it starts to play, but on my mixer view where I left my mouse pointer on the volume fader , its no longer highlighted, and it has jumped to my first track, so I then have to move my mouse back down to the master volume fader.

this happens no matter what scene I start from on the LPP

the mixer view jumps to the first track

you can see it do it in the video, but that only shows me launching scene 1

but it also happens if I launch any other scene
the mixer view will jump to my first track

I hope that made sense, if not ill do another video

Hmm, sorry I cannot reproduce that. Could it be related to the 2 monitors? Did you try with one?

I'm a new Bitwig user, getting going with Bitwig 2.4 Beta 2, DrivenByMossBeta2 , and my Launchpad Pro.

Hi Kev,

For me the track selections on the screen seem to be tracking whatever I row (scene) I select on the LPP using the rightward arrows on the round buttons down the right-hand side. IOW, I do not think I'm seeing your problem.

However, we are clearly not using the very same setup. If you load Berlin Mornings and change nothing in it do you still see the problem?

I think that is what should happen if you have SELECT CLIP ON LAUNCH turned on in the controller settings I think
but if I have it turned on or off it makes no difference for me

I loaded that berlin demo , and it works as it should, no more jumping to other tracks
so I though it must be something to do with my project

I then made a completely new project , and the problem comes back
like you it correctly highlights the correct scene as I press the > on the LPP
but it jumps and slects random tracks
I cant make any sense of this its driving me crazy

It's just a very wild shot in the dark: Your project doesn't have any FX Tracks, maybe add some and see if this does anything.

The Mini is not supported by DrivenByMoss but I think there are some scripts floating around for it.

Hi last try at explaining my problem

When I load in a demo project everything works as it should
I then made up a project with random 4 clips / scenes
none of the clips have any midi , audio , or vsts loaded they are all empty
but as soon as I launch a scene from the LPP what ever track I had highlighted
now jumps to my first track

I want to leave the master volume track fader highlighted
so when I launch a scene if its to loud I can drag the fader down
but it wont stay highlighted ++but in a demo Bitwig track it works perfectly

I thought that maybe it was a vst or some other thing causing it to do this
Moss suggested trying only 1 monitor but that made no difference

so that's why I made a dummy project with nothing added

so here is a short 2 min video of it happening

someone must be able to tell me what's going wrong and why

PS: I just loaded up 2.3.5 with the old driven by moss ext and everything works perfectly

so this defiantly a problem with the beta of bitwig or the beta extension
