I was trying out the demo(thinking of buying it) I was kinda stuck that where is the FM amount knob or how is it done??
Am I missing something??
And if I buy 2.9 do I have to pay the upgrade for 3.x ??

FM amount is basically the level of a modulator going into its carrier.
Set the routing as in the picture, with Mod1 (as a modulator) before Osc1 (as a carrier), then adjust the Volume knob in Mod1's tab to choose the "fm amount", or have that volume knob modulated by an envelope/lfo.
Also play with Mod1's tuning.
As far as I can remember Synthmaster3 is supposed to be a $30-ish upgrade.
Or a free update for those who have the "everything bundle".
