Zebra 2.8 & Cubase - Scroll through patches with arrow keys on PC keyboard

This is my favoured method for patch auditioning….
However, today the up/down arrow keys have stopped working on the current arrangement I’m working on.
If I create a new arrangement, the behaviour of a new instantiation of Zebra works as normal, but not on the (complex) arrangement I’m working on.
I have Plug-in Editors “always on top” selected in the Cubase prefs…
Have I altered something in Zebra by mistake to stop the up/down arrows working, or have I screwed up in Cubase somewhere?
Thanks…

You have to always just click once into the browser to give it the key focus. I can't think of anything else right now.

Thanks...yes, that's the usual behaviour for me...I must have altered something in Cubase in error.
It's happening each time I intantiate a new version, but only in that particular arrangement...

I was looking to see if there was even a Cubendo preference to allow vst's to steal keyboard focus..... Couldn't find it.
I imagine something about the project got corrupted..
maybe if you want to investigate it..
start a new project and do an "Import Tracks from Projects" and see if those work fine.

As Urs already said, you always have to click in the preset browser area of the plugin to give it the arrow key focus.
Either click on a preset directly, or on an empty part of the preset list, or on the scroll bar at the bottom of the preset list.
if you reopen the plugin GUI, even if the preset page shows up and a preset is selected, the arrow keys will control Cubase functions until you click directly inside the browser part of the plugin.
Other than that, there is no reason for the arrow keys to not work.
There is a small glitch in the preset browser, if you have a smart folder selected (e.g. the favourites, or the author folders), then only the up/down arrows do work, but not the left/right arrows. But since you report about the up/down arrows not working anymore, this can't be the cause for your problem.

Thanks everyone for your input. I think I’ve worked out what was going on.
I actually tried Importing tracks into a fresh arrangement zvenx… and it did the same thing!
Zebra patch selection worked as usual, until the tracks were imported…
So I tried deleting tracks until the problem went away…and the cause was narrowed down to the Juno 106 Roland cloud plugin. Once this was deleted, “normal service” was resumed…re-introduce the plug, and the problem returned…
I’m not going to subscribe for the Cloud option anyway (30 day trial), and I quickly re-created the patch on Zebra in next to no time. I slapped a Tal Chorus-LX on an insert and a quick a/b of the tracks showed the new patch to be spot-on.
I’m really enjoying working with Zebra. As my first version was 2.8, I’m hoping for HZ to be updated soon so I can use my voucher towards it!

Thanks and do you recall if the Juno 106 GUI is kept open or closing it makes no difference?

OK - here is the thing....
Loaded up the project minus the Juno 106 from last night - Zebra 2.8 (latest) scrolls up and down presets with the arrow keys.
Instantiate the Juno 106, and the behaviour was the same as before...namely up/down keyboard arrows not working in Zebra....
Close the 106 Gui - same thing.... (even after selecting several Zebra presets with the mouse, the up/down keyboard arrows select upper and lower Cubase tracks as if Cubase has focus)
Instantiate Diva with the Juno Plugin running, and the presets can be selected in Diva with the up/down arrows.... but not in Zebra...
Remove the Juno plug, and Zebra behave as before (after a couple of mouse clicks).
Hope that helps...
