Switching from Normal to Banks mode: Can existing ranges be ported over?

I often have a number of parameters assigned to an MP, and then realize at some point after having set the values and ranges that I need more flexibility, so I switch over to banks mode. Seems like whenever I do this, all of the values and ranges are reset within banks mode, so I need to start over assigning each value.

Is there any way to preserve the values already entered so they appear in banks mode as well?

Just use the banks save button to add current values to that bank. Can't copy ranges though as bank mode doesn't have ranges.
