Hi,

pretty noobish question :

In general, I would like to MIDI reset certain plugins inside MXXX whenever I hit a key on my MIDI keyboard.

This works fine when I want to MIDI reset a Modulator, or Powersynth.

But now I find myself trying to reset MTremolo's "built in" modulator with a MIDI keyboard, and no luck so far. I could live with that, but I can't even reset the MTremolo Modulator when I hit play inside my DAW.

On the "Synchronization" tab, it even says "MIDI reset", I enable the option and I can define the range of notes that should reset the modulator, the minimum velocity etc... but nothing happens.

Is this even possible? I just want the Tremolo to start playing whenever I play MIDI notes.
Pretty sure I'm just missing something here!

I know I could just take Utility and modulate the Gain with a modulator to emulate tremolo, problem solved. But I'd like to know, because of the simplicity, and the synchronization groups. And also, that MIDI reset button must be there for a reason!
Peace!

Right click on the FX in the module, enable midi from there.

Well that's the problem, the modulation plugins do not have this option!

Some plugins have got it, like MWobbler, sure you can MIDI enable the plugin. But Tremolo or Phaser dont have this option. The only thing you can do, is add them to synchronization groups.

I'm afraid you just cannot do that, sorry. But tremolo is quite easy to create using a modulator.
