Based on their overview video (http://y2u.be/aOybUN9ol-4), it's a good addition to an orchestral library to help give it a bit of extra spice if you are so inclined. So you would not use it as-is, but to overlay the orchestral instruments.Harry_HH wrote:What is the verdict? 8Dio 7th Anniversary Celebration
Hybrid Tools Synphony represent the latest in pro-grade cinematic scoring tools. Synphony contains over 24GB (losslessly compressed to 11GB) and a variety of new scoring elements, including an entire symphony orchestra recreated with analog synths. The core concept was to create a new breed of Hybrid Tools – purely designed with analog synthesizers.
Hybrid Tools Synphony contains 10 Different Core FX Categories, including Dopplers, Downers, Exmachines 1-2, Mega Horns, Sub Strikes, Whoosh Slow and Woosh Fast, Tonal Boomers and Tonal Downers, Cinematic Kits etc.
8Dio Hybrid Tools Synphony ($38). Price goes back to $248 on August 14th.
This promotion is a part of 7th Anniversary Celebration.
Also, it has some OK effects (http://y2u.be/NBwfvkj83KM). If you don't have anything yet to do trailer like effects (mind you with the regular bombardment of trailer and cinematic effects sales at audioplugin.deals or VSTBuzz, I am not sure how you wouldn't already have something if this type of stuff is of interest to you), this might be a good to have handy as long as:
- You already own Kontak
- You are fine with no license transfer
- You have $38 USD to spend
At $38, it's a good deal as long as it helps fill one of the above mentioned items and are OK with with the 3 items in my list.

The crossgrade is not 10$ less, it's 30$ less, since it's including the expansions. This bundle is selling 99$, and it's 69$ with the crossgrade.OneOfManyPauls wrote:fwiw, pluginboutique are doing a crossgrade from tantra to thorn that's £10/$10 less than buying without already owning tantra, so the mechanism is out there:Tappistry wrote:I’d also be interested in this as well. Some kind of loyalty discount to pick up either of the synths after Tantra ...sqigls wrote:is there a crossgrade from Tantra & Thorn to Diversion?
Or maybe just wait for VSTBuzz to run sales on them again?

I checked the videos and I also think it's a good library to layer with a real orchestral library.SolarAxix wrote:Based on their overview video (http://y2u.be/aOybUN9ol-4), it's a good addition to an orchestral library to help give it a bit of extra spice if you are so inclined. i bought the "Beat" mag iso yesterday and my ozone elements license is already registered.krabbencutter wrote:If you're living in Germany you can get Ozone 8 Elements with the current issue of BEAT Magazine
https://www.falkemedia-shop.de/sound/beat/beat-09/2018
you have to use "Beat's" "serial center" to get the serial(s).
it's not necessary to live in Germany to buy the mag. there are Thorn solo and XILS Stix LE licenses in the package too.

I got the digi download, not iso. It works. Go to your Beat account and to the “sofort downloads” tab to get the pdf mag. Then go to the licensing site, https://www.serialcenter.de and register there. After activating via the email they send, there should be a dialog that lets you choose the mag edition and which licenses you want. It’ll ask you a couple simple questions like “what’s the third word in the headline on pg40.” Then you’ll get an email with all the codes. Make sure you have a web translator if you don’t speak german! good luckdusted william wrote:I bought the download of BEAT magazine. How do we get the extra content? You then register the Ozone elements serial in your Izotope account.owenf711 wrote:I got the digi download, not iso. It works. You might have to buy the .iso if you want Thorn Solo as I'm not sure of anywhere to download it otherwise.

Okay, so I tried this, but it keeps telling me I have the wrong answer. Is it the M word and the F word? Or am I missing something. Based on the questions, that would seem to be the correct answers. I don't want to give too much away. And I don't see any fancy characters that my computer isn't using.owenf711 wrote:I got the digi download, not iso. It works. By the way, it seems I now live in Great Britain. US isn't a choice. Thank goodness Paypal didn't freak out.
