guys, if any of you received an email (that seems to come) from time & space only saying "please check attachment", DO NOT open the attachment. It's a trojan.

It is a very good price and O8 Advanced is a very good and extremely useful product. But only the iZotope gods will be able to tell you if it is the best price ever. If you like O8 standard and have some money to spare, I would go for it.

The current deep sales seem to indicate that they are preparing a new release of one of their flagship products. RX seems to be on an 18 month release cycle and RX6 came out last April. So, there is some indication that we might see RX7 soon. I don't think O9 is due for another year. But that is pure speculation.

@MrM777: I dunno. I was lucky Windows defender caught it before it does anything. You might want to check your system.

Unfortunately, it looks like we won't receive the upgrades until Monday. They sometimes work on the weekends but I messaged them last night about these and haven't heard back.

Thank you very much for posting it here. I got this email in the morning and I couldn't open that attachment anyway.

You may want to run a scan or two. Historically, some Trojans have pretended that they couldn't open, while actually executing. This way they keep their victim from becoming alarmed.

Equilibrium isn't a dynamic EQ but has an insane amount of control over the DSP used for the filters. The other is a dynamic EQ with an insane amount of control over modulators and various bits and pieces...except the DSP used for the filters.

Other than that, they're just the same (not really).
