Getting music into Waveform 9

I have Spotify but I still buy songs if I'm going to remake them or something. Can't you rip an Mp3 from YouTube?

Yes I could rip youtube vids, but im trying to learn guitar as speedily and efficiently as possble really, not accumulate music files (hence having Spotify & Amazon)
I am practicing lead guitar whilst using tabs and chord fingerings on separate monitors. My aim was to be able to do this as quickly as possible in a single program, then listen back to my attempts to improve my timing accuracy etc.

You may like to take a look at Riffstation Pro. It is owned by Fender now, and is a free download. You can import any wave or MP3 file and it has automatic chord recognition. You can slow down and loop parts of the song, among other things.

• Get the chords for any song
  Slow down a song or change the tempo
  Change the key or pitch
  Isolate the guitar and other instruments

Yes I've seen that thanks mate, however I use a similar thing called chordU.
