If you’re talking about the version that’s aimed at post-production, I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen that go on sale. But I haven’t been Plugin shopping for that long either.masterhiggins wrote:When are they going to run a crazy sale like that for RX advanced?

Back from vacation and looking at the latest deals. No vacation for good deals it seems...
8Dio had a lot of great deals. What's left to get?

I've gotten offers for the post-production suite as an upgrade from RX Advanced, like $150 or something silly. But if you actually look at the post-production suite, it's not that impressive TBH.Tappistry wrote:If you’re talking about the version that’s aimed at post-production, I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen that go on sale. You get offers for upgrades/crossgrades from time to time, it's worth it to wait if you can. You'll save a ton.

Looks like Plugin Alliance put back their 24 hour sales available again for a couple of days. Time to use your voucher!dzilizzi wrote:Is Unfiltered Audio's Fault worth getting for $29? I already used my voucher this month. It looks interesting but does it actually do what it says it does?
Thanks
Edit - 24 hr flash sale that ends at midnight, so I picked it up. The videos looked interesting enough. I guess I will find out if it is good.

Has anyone played with the HOFA All System bundle? It’s on sale for 95 euros.
It seems vaguely similar to Kilohearts Works?
The only chatter I can find here about it is a thread that’s a couple years old from when I think HOFA had done an initial release.

The HOFA System is really very good imho. Mostly, I would rate it above the KiloheartsTappistry wrote:Has anyone played with the HOFA All System bundle? It’s on sale for 95 euros.

equivalent. However, currently it falls short in terms of effects variety and workflow.
No doubt effects will continually be developed for it, although getting to the level of
effects variety in Multipass is likely gonna cost a bunch, at $50 per or whatever.
That said, those HOFA effects will probably be quite a bit better than those in Multipass.
Definitely worth a demo, I've heard that the free version is too restricted to be of much use.

Compared to Kilohearts, Hofa System has the advantage of allowing feedback loops (as does Melda MXXX) – which is a good thing to have and makes it more interesting overall. But it's going to be one of those situations where they will charge more to people already onboard to get any new modules while offering top deals to new buyers – which will probably grate after a while. The Saturator module alone right now is almost half the cost of the whole bundle, for example.

8Dio had a lot of great deals. What's left to get?
I emailed 8DIO to ask if they would put all the sales available again at the end of the 14 weeks, like some developers did with the Christmas sales.
They said no, unfortunately...
So if you want to grab one of those deals, better not snooze.

I don't think it's the final one. There should be at least one more as evidenced by the promotional banner on the 8DIO site (probably Liberis).SolarAxix wrote:This is the final 8dio 48 hour sale as part of their 7 year Anniversary Sale. This one is going until August 31st 12pm PST. (The previous Instant Steel String Guitar sale ($18, regularly $198) is still going on until 12 pm PST)
This time it's the Agitato Sordino Strings for Kontakt VST-AU-AAX for $18 (MSRP $88): https://8dio.com/instrument/agitato-sor ... st-au-aax/
Possibly one more after that (as hinted at by 8DIO support)...

Hollywood has Diamond - Symphonic has Platinum. It wasn't included in the last 50% off saleFeelshallright wrote:Wasn't Hollywood Choirs Platinum at the same sale price not so long ago??Uncle E wrote:EastWest 50% off MSRP, including the lowest price ever on Hollywood Choirs Diamond:

EastWest Hollywood Choirs Diamond $399.50
EastWest Symphonic Choirs Gold $199.50
I see an intro sale price for $349, but the related full price is $499 and there is no statement as to Gold/Diamond. And it says 30% off. Probably the Gold version, based on the full prices of $665/799.
