MXXX: Blend drum module and Logic MIDI controlled effect w/ audio sidechain input into single unit?

I've got a 12 core MacPro that I've brought to it's knees with complex routing and such in Logic, so looking to simplify wherever possible.

I have a MIDI controlled effect I've developed that is triggered by the MIDI note-on messages from the MIDI kick and snare tracks elsewhere in the project (wired via MIDI environment).

It occurs to me that this might be unnecessary. After all, the MIDI controlled effect requires being loaded onto it's own blank MIDI channel as the instrument, and steals the audio from the master bus (where the kick and snare are first blended into the mix) via it's sidechain.

So, the MIDI conntrolled effect is already in the MIDI instrument slot, and I see that there are synthesis modules like MDrummer available to be placed int the MXXX matrix, so...

Are there any issues I should be aware of that would hamper combining the drum module and the MIDI effect so I have just one MIDI track that is both the kick and snare module and also the MIDI controlled effect for the Master Bus?

Would it then be possible via internal module routing to blend the kick/snare to taste with the incoming sidechain, and apply the existing MIDI controlled effect to the blended signal?

Thinking out loud, it would seem that kick/snare sends would be an issue. For instance, I'm not seeing how to route out to an external reverb for the snare only (certain non-Melda reverbs used globally) while not routing out the MB signal the rest of the plug is processing.

I often keep the kick dry, though, so the only thing I can think of that I sometimes use on kick that might be missing is tilt EQ. If that's the case, the kick is the main thing I'm trying to integrate, so if I keep the snare separate, is this at least doable for the kick?
