The consensus on the new Francesca is it isn't great. Just a few phrases or something. I don't know if these are actually "new" or just things left out of the original Francesca. Anyway, the ones that bought it were not very impressed. However, it is only $18, so if you want to try it..... not a big loss.Project wrote:There's also the new Francesca version on introductory sale:dzilizzi wrote:It's been hinted there will be a choir on sale. Liberis was on sale for about 19 minutes before it was pulled because they introduced 66 Tubas the same day. I guess someone messed up.evilantal wrote:I don't think it's the final one. There should be at least one more as evidenced by the promotional banner on the 8DIO site (probably Liberis).SolarAxix wrote:This is the final 8dio 48 hour sale as part of their 7 year Anniversary Sale. This one is going until August 31st 12pm PST. (The previous Instant Steel String Guitar sale ($18, regularly $198) is still going on until 12 pm PST)
This time it's the Agitato Sordino Strings for Kontakt VST-AU-AAX for $18 (MSRP $88): https://8dio.com/instrument/agitato-sor ... st-au-aax/
Possibly one more after that (as hinted at by 8DIO support)...
So, one more then a big surprise? Something new? I don't know. The emails keep hinting about something.

until September 1st

Yeah, they can be transferred, I purchased a few here on KVR.yehboy1 wrote:Can Ableton Packs bought at the Ableton store be transferred? Never tried, so am not sure. Ableton's transfer FAQ only mentions Live, not packs.

Sometimes you have to insist, as the rep will tell you it's not possible. It is though,yehboy1 wrote:Can Ableton Packs bought at the Ableton store be transferred? Never tried, so am not sure. Ableton's transfer FAQ only mentions Live, not packs.
just be prepared for some hassle on occasion.

Has iZotope done sale this deep on those plugins? Might grab them but kind of short on budget this month

It is not unheard of. Usually seems to happen during the Summer.hhuang9611 wrote:https://www.pluginboutique.com/deals/show?sale_id=4303

Assuming that "Superior Summer" was going to have the discount and didn't ... I caved and grabbed it after I sold some EZX SDX libraries I didn't need anymore. I had some loyalty cash with PB to knock it down a little, but I don't think they're going to discount it at all.mgw38 wrote:Anybody else waiting for a sale on the Superior Drummer 3 upgrade?dzilizzi wrote:They usually have something on sale every month. Honestly, it's not. The quality of the drum samples in the core library are out of this world. Plus the overall insane level of functionality of SD3 vs. SD2: the drum tracking feature, custom drum kits and drum sample blending, MIDI style mixing ... on and on. It's seriously worth every penny.DrMEM wrote:Yup. Still $200, still ridiculous.

I recently got back into music production and was waiting for these all to go on sale for around 6 months. It might be another year before they go this low again, though iris can usually be found cheap year round. Not sure if they run a black friday sale. Outside of second hand - trash, breaktweaker and stutter edit are a bit harder to find on steep discounts. Honestly trash is the best value @ $50.mgw38 wrote:It is not unheard of. JRR also appears to be running the sale @49.00, PB worked out to $50.22(base prices set in pounds).
I'm waiting for RX standard to go on sale again, need to upgrade from rx elements for the spectral denoiser.

A deal or some kind of competitor cross-grade discount would make it very hard to resist. I’ve heard nothing but great things about SD3 but honestly Addictive Drums 2 is getting me through for now.Tappistry wrote:Honestly, it's not.
