I've got T7 running on Win10. I'm using Behringer UMC22 audio interface with ASIO driver. I have 8 tracks, each with virtual amp plugins. When I record it stutters in places and also stutters when I play. If I render to an MP3 file there is no stuttering.
Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

It's possible you're overtaxing your CPU ? Keep an eye on the CPU upper right.

I will assume that your multiple amp plugins are working your CPU too hard.
Don't really see the point of having 8 amp sims running at the same time, especially if your audio interface only has 2 inputs for live recording/monitoring.
If you already have recorded material on the other tracks, why not freeze them by simply using freeze points, to reduce CPU usage?
Audio tracks without active plugins don't require much CPU to play back, but hungry plugins are CPU killers!
