Looks interesting, indeed. I might give it a try. What is the problem with the demo?husteblume wrote:Anyone here that bought F-REX ? I mean it sounds interesting and looks like a great deal... Can not install the demo, so any experiences here ?

It does look interesting - looks like RX style spectral editing but in realtime and a crapload cheaper. The chirpy artifacts are very evident in the video though. No free lunch when you're cutting holes in the spectrum with ultra-steep linear phase filters.mgw38 wrote:Looks interesting, indeed. I might give it a try. Did buy it to get one Sonivox product to work for upgrade pricing (49USD on PB for the next month). Not a big fan of inMusic Brands in general and it doesn’t sound like people here are praising Sonivox on a regular basis. Still figured some of these could come in handy.VariKusBrainZ wrote:I was hoping I could use my own wavs, I can but theres a slightly laborious workaroundGamma-UT wrote:It's still too much. Well, you don’t necessarily have to download it…Gamma-UT wrote:It's still too much. You're using precious electrons to download it.mgw38 wrote:Seems about right.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Sonivox Twist

I bought the whole Sonnivox package a few years ago for cheap. It was worth it in that I have used some of the orchestral stuff, the silk road drums, and the Eighty-eight piano. They don't use a lot of RAM/CPU and they sound okay in a mix. They are just old products and not worth the full price.Enkerli wrote:Did buy it to get one Sonivox product to work for upgrade pricing (49USD on PB for the next month). However, I have not tried Twist, though it was in the package.

Their support via chat (down in the lower right of the page when logged in) is great - I was wondering if I would qualify since I'm already subscribed to their newsletter - had to wait about 3 seconds for a response (yes). I buy lots of stuff from them and have always had good experiences.xx JPRacer xx wrote:Signed up, made a purchase of about ~$100 and didn't received the coupon. First its in Japanese. If you want to install it, at the first menu choose the second option.... Otherwise you only see strange letters

I wonder if they've gone home for a Labor Day weekend vacation.

Less than 18 months since RX6 was released. This is the reason I'm reluctant to buy anything from iZotope.MogwaiBoy wrote:RX7 is coming..

Years ago when it was a "no brainer" for twenty bucks or thereabouts, I thought that. But the transformations are nothing spectacular, it was crashy and the sound quality wasn't good – IIRC it tends to generate a lot of high-end hash. Their vocal FX plugin is actually a better bet for doing what Twist claims to be able to do. However, there is the whole crashiness thing with Sonivox as a whole and other vocal FX plugins are available...VariKusBrainZ wrote:...Sonivox Twist...
I was hoping I could use my own wavs, I can but theres a slightly laborious workaround
Other than that, it's a great deal!

Agreed, I'll edit myself more. I went overboard with the Kuassa Caliburn announcement and will fix it now.BBFG# wrote:Kind of getting annoyed at the spiels and blurbs overtaking the "No Chat" thread. Way too many and getting longer all the time. Seems to me they're more appropriate to be in the discussions of deals rather than the no chat deal list.
Just give me the product, price and ending date there (linked of course).
