Am I normal I’m not caring at all about the Waves sales? I have bundles of other plugins (GAS hits me hard, I’m afraid), but I simply have no interest in any of their stuff.

Waves essentially has a massive smorgasbord of stuff. There are a couple of Waves plugins that I couldn't live without. H-Delay, Trans-X, Vitamin, MaxBass, J37 and a few other are on every track I make. They just always do the job better than anything else I have. And if you want to monitor multichannel audio on headphones, there isn't much besides Waves NX on the market.dangayle wrote:Am I normal I’m not caring at all about the Waves sales? Some other stuff also reduced on their siteIt’s a virtual synthesizer housed in a USB stick which you simply plug into your computer and use as a sound source. Load up an editor in your DAW and there’s an audio output on the USB stick itself. It feels a little weird but it’s also very simple and could be very effective. It’s a bit like the Trueno analog synth on a USB stick we saw back in December. But I think this is a much simpler sound engine but captures the same idea of having a portable synth-on-a-stick that you can use anywhere, on everything

That's actually quite nice!OneOfManyPauls wrote:On the plus side:

Advanced will have post and dialogue tools that are not in standard. It's definitely the one to get for anyone who's doing video work, gaming work, or hundreds of edits on a single project (like you would typically do with dialogue or sound effect production).dzilizzi wrote:I'm not a professional. Is there any reason to get RX Advanced over Standard?
For anyone doing music alone, Standard ought to be sufficient.
