i’ve moved on to imagina drum loops. i’m trying to find them, use them in wave form. i’ve downloaded and installed them, probably a couple times.

i have an edit open. i go to add a plug in to a track but imagina drum loops don’t come up as an option under anything.

so imagina drum loops are not a plugin?

i look in my browser on the left of my tracks and under loops i see a ton. they have name in one column, tags in a second column, then category, then manufacturer. under tags i see mostly “major” “Drums” etc.

but i don’t see anything that says “imagina” or even a manufacturer for any of the loops.

i can’t find imagina loops anywhere using finder (mac). and i don’t believe i was really given any option where to download imagina to when i did download it. well, i think it said standard download location or something like that.

but i did download imagina, i installed it, it said it was successfully installed.

but now what? where are the drum loops? supposed to be gigs of them, right?

will ask tracktion support…and post to kvr forum.

thank you for any help.

ironically you'll find them under presets/trackpresets in the search tab of the browser on the left.
not really intuitive ... but well ...

in the end it makes sense, because these are multitrack-loops and trackpresets have some properties, that are useful in that regard.
be aware, that all the stereo-information of these multitracks is mono by default. you have to manually pan the tracks, that contain left or right channels of stereo-mics. another oddity ...
in stereo they sound gorgious, in mono not so much.
you can import the multitrack loop as mixdown-file on one track, but again, all mono.

it is a real pita, that there is no update to this mono-stereo behaviour. i'd like to see stereo by default, should not be difficult to achieve and they would do themselves a favour, because it sounds so much better.
but they do what they do ... i already reported this in the beginning, when imagina loops came out.

ok. found imagina (looks like three artists named sanfilippo, lombardo and test) in finder.

1. i assume there are many loops w/i each of the three folders?
2. now how do i get those loops into waveform? ultimately what i want to know is how do i get those loops into tracks in waveform?

asking tracktion support and posting to kvr forum.

thank you for any help.

thanks for your help. so i'm looking in my browser pane. and you say i don't look under loops? but presets?

i've looked under all (loops, presets and plugins) and i see tons of what i think are loops but i can't tell if any of them are the imagina loops.

how am i supposed to put a imagina loop in one of my tracks?

that's ultimately what i want to know.

thanks.

like i said, use the the browser on the left in waveform, go to the "search" tab and search for presets/trackpresets (rightclick on the magnifying-glas symbol will give you options).
you will recognize them by the names you already found.
then drag and drop them to a track. you will get a dialog, where you can choose multitrack or singletrack import.

ok. i’ve got imagina loops in my browser pane in waveform. i did it!

so tell me, please. from now on if i want to find imagina loops, it looks like i will have to search under the browser, under loops, type in “alex san filippo” or “ricardo …” etc?

i’ll have to remember those three guys names?

also posting to kvr forum.

thanks

yes, a search with the name will be fast and show you all the imagina-loops trackpresets with this name.
you can also give a selection of items in the searchpane a tag. the tag will appear on top of the searchpane with the option to only show what is tagged with the respective name.
maybe give those loops a special tag and you will find them fast.

thanks!
