Can someone explain to me what I'm missing here.
Trying to control/play a Multi-Sampler drumkit with MIDI drumpads and I'm getting no-where.
Drumkit is el-cheapo DD70 from Gear4Music. Branded chinese bollocks really. Hardcoded on Channel 10.
Works instantly and effortlessly in Live routed to a Drum Rack.
Seems to produce tiny tiny hits in Bitwig if routed to Synth1, Hee haw (nothing) if routed to a DM.
REAPER, no luck routing to Synth1. Seems to be tiny MIDI input on mixer strip. Dont have a drum-rack style VST to test.
In Waveform, midi input shows clearly on input arrow thingy. That's as far as it goes. Have not the faintest clue.
Given up with the Multi-Sampler in a Rack for now. Just trying to get MIDI from Pad to Synth1.
MIDI Patch Bay does f**k all. I'd assumed it was for channel mapping, like from 10 to 1. Who knows? lol. It's not mentioned in the manual once.
midi-ox and ableton both confirm midi notes from D2 octave.
So what am I missing? (apart from a clue and decent e-drums)
MIDI e-drum issue. I'm missing something.

Progress.
Trying the pads thru Sampler. If I use 'ignore release', I get sound. Yay. Similarly in Multi-Sampler, if I switch mode from ADSR to One-Hit, I get sound there too.
Only half of hits get thru though. And one has to zoom in a humorous amount to SEE recorded notes, never mind adjust them.
So my incoming midi-notes are too short. What can I do about that? Is there a note length adjusting VST? Or do I need to bugger about nearer the driver level (midi-ox etc) before it hits Waveform? I see reaper has JS plugs for this kind of thing.
