Don't know where they get this information: XOSPHERE - - 09/25/2018 ( https://rekkerd.org/deals-deals-deals/ )

AFAIK Europa is part of Reason 10. I got it when I upgraded to Reason 10 and then later received the VST version license (Europa VST was not available when I upgraded to 10)
I would be cautious about the assumptions. Reason sometimes has time limited free things (like the new Drum Sequencer) where you have to claim it within a certain time period for it to be free.

You might could ask over at ReasonTalk (or search their forum) to see if it's been answered.

Is buying direct at https://www.samplelogic.com the best way to purchase? I checked the usual suspects and don't see XOSPHERE available at third-party sellers.

Post

I'd say yes. They sometimes run the same deals if the product is available at Audio Plugin Deals, but XOSPHERE isn't offered there. Haven't ever seen any place to get a bit under the manufacturer offers with Sample Logic otherwise. And it's always a redemption code you have to input/zero out a cart with when you buy from APD. So might as well just make an account if you don't have one and buy direct. I don't think XOSPHERE has ever been this cheap before.

I understand that Europa it's part of reason 10 (and that vst europa version able to get after upgrade to 10), but the keyword here "purchased from another user", and exactly already in v10 form.

Well, yes, perhaps it's the only option.

I'd assume no, as they have no license transfers for RE and the same policy most likely extends to the free VST as Props makes it. These things are forever locked in the users account and there is no way to resell or transfer. The third party plugins they sell all get redeemed through the manufacturer, so you probably could transfer/resell as all that's in your account is the redemption serial to cash in elsewhere. Download button is a redirect on all those.

But dropping Propellerhead a line might be the only way to 100% confirm. I fear you're stuck though. :(

Sounds good. Thank you for the info!

PluginDiscounts has RX7 standard upgrade from 1-6 for $126.90:

https://plugindiscounts.com/product/izo ... rom-rx1-6/

As a relative newbie, is this a good deal (I've got 6), or will there be lower prices at the end of the year? (The thing that appeals most to me is the new variable pitch/time feature.) Thanks for any advice!

JRR with coupon "group" is slightly better. Regular price will be 199, so this is a good deal if you want/need it in the near future. Some time down the road there will be better upgrade pricing, but I would not expect that to happen this year.

But it says base price $9. Not sure why you say $4?
As stated, you have to use the survey coupon (if you took the survey). It takes off $5.

It has been announced that Europa is now inside Reason 10 and as a VST for all Reason owners. I don't see how they could avoid that when it's not a time-limited thing.

This time the deal is announced on the Sample Logic website. It's a great price for what you get.

Looks like a great product, but I wonder if it's really useful for someone already having the RX plugin pack and Melodyne Studio?

RX is an audio restoration suite. It does not really compare to Melodyne and has a different use case than the RX plugin pack. It is something you would use if you have audio that needs restoration, for example if something went wrong during the recording process.

I would be cautious as well. In contrast to everything else within Reason, Europe VST has its own license. So while it is true that it is considered as being "part of Reason", I would not be so sure if the licenses transfer together. It never hurts to ask their support.
