I have noticed that when I have the browser pane to the right of the GUI in auto-hide mode I cannot click on the 'zoom keys' [ + Z - F ] or the vertical scroll bar without the browser pane opening out again before I can complete my action.
A suggestion would be to slow the timing of the hover action by perhaps a second or so or make it that the action doesn't happen until the mouse is hovered over the very last pixel to the right of the GUI.

Yeah, I agree. It would be nice if hidden panels didn't open up unless 1 or 2 seconds of continual "pressure" is applied to that side.

The problem then is if there is another monitor on that side and no edge to press against.

Personally I would position panels so they dont abut other monitors as I would get annoyed with panels flinging open every time my mouse transits over monitor boundaries.

I never though of that use case, but I'm sure the Devs could implement an if else clause for this particular case.
