problem with clip effects

when i split an audio clip and hit the fx button and, let's say i put in effectrix at the bottom of the clip it says the name of the plug in but i can't edit the plugin, nor see it's gui. any help?

To get the gui up, mouse over the clip, and a little popup menu will appear on the right hand side of the clip, with a + - and a little cog icon. Click on the cog, to show the gui for the plugin.

thanks! i also discovered i could split a clip, grab a vst and just drag and drop it on the clip itself!

Yes, that's always worked, back to some really old version. Like T2 or T3 or something. Clip fx came in with T7, i think.
Benefit of using clip fx is you can order which happens first, if you want to do warp time, then add a delay, or have the delay, then the warp time, you can rearrange the order, to achieve what you're trying to do.
