It's doubtful (but not impossible) that NI will be doing any discounts on Komplete upgrades this black friday, most likely they will have deals on individual product upgrades only. You'll probably have to wait till Summer Of Sound in June to get the deal you are hoping for.pvall88 wrote:Hi, quick question as I’m planning some updates over the next couple of months:
I own Komplete 8 and need to update to Komplete 12 so I can run it on my new computer. My current update price is listed as $199. If NI runs a Thanksgiving sale, what are the chances that my update price would go down to $99? Or do NI’s sales not typically apply to update pricing? (Please note that I’m looking to go from 8 to 12; no Ultimate upgrade or anything like that.)
Thanks!

They will have 50% update sale, but I doubt it'll be this year. I'm guessing summer or black friday next year.pvall88 wrote:Hi, quick question as I’m planning some updates over the next couple of months:

Interested in this as I got the email this morning. I haven't used BFD Eco in years but at $75 to upgrade to BFD 3 seems like a (possibly) decent deal. What are the thoughts on BFD3? Would anyone recommend taking up this offer? If this sale had happened a couple days ago it would be an instant buy for me, I'll probably still get it.

Dealing with Maschines lack of ability to do more than one time signature in a song as a stand alone has been frustrating. Drag and drop to your DAW works, and I finally got a solution for using the pads on the controller to write notes directly to your DAW, involving NI Controller Editor etc.
All that said, I still am curious, are any of you MPC 2 users? I really like the concept of the MPC Live, and this would be a good way to test the waters since AKAI have a Maschine Studio template for MPC 2.
Is anyone else not able to see the whole page at VST Buzz? If you aren't it's a bundle with "The Vault, Sound Mob, Melodic Horizon, Vegas Festival, Hook City Trap & B, Urban Roulette, AIR Creative FX Collection Plus". The Vault is what's included with MPC Live and MPC X, the other kits are included in the "Best of MVP" bundle for $99.

Putting this here instead of Bargain thread due to info needed before someone hits the link.
So, as many people know Magix has had a long standing offer on Samplitude Pro X3 Suite Upgrade. They have offered it for as little as $149.99 at times with Sound Forge and Spectralayers included. As a lark, I hit the old emails from time to time to see if anything had changed on the offer. Well finally it has, now if you pay $199.99 you get a free upgrade to Samplitude Pro X4 Suite, Sound Forge Pro 11 and now Spectralayers 5 included. When you go to cart with this link, it doesn't even show upgrade, so maybe another product isn't even needed. Anyway, sorry for the novel.

Maschine has been able to "use the pads on the controller to write (midi) notes directly to your daw" since it came out in 2009. The update from 1.8 to 2.0 made it harder but still possible. Let me know if I'm misunderstanding youmachinesworking wrote:If this sale had happened a couple days ago it would be an instant buy for me, I'll probably still get it.

On January 2017 I purchased the Samplitude Pro X3 with Sound Forge 11 without the Spectral LAyer Pro for $199. I have hardly used it. If I had been patient I would now get this deal. Oh well! Such is life.GoldieK wrote:Putting this here instead of Bargain thread due to info needed before someone hits the link.

Is it just me...or did plugin sales become extremely aggressive and cheap? I've bought more plugins in the last summer than I have all together. What funky deflation is this? Some of the deals going have been nuts this. I can't wait for Christmas
