I am using Win 7. Just made a purchase and I am unable to get the Waves Redd plugin to appear in the plugin list.
I have about 25 Waves plugins, so I am familiar with the install process (install using Wave Central, clear the entire list of plugins in Tracktion, scan) then I usually find it.
Not this time.
Just wondering if anyone has made it work in T7, or if it's 'one of those' that has a compatibility issue...some Waves plugins do.
Anyone Own the Waves Redd Channel Strip?

I've got it, and it works for me in Waveform, but I'm on Windows 10... I don't have a Win7 machine to try it on either ...

Although ... have you upgraded to Waves 10 yet? I think the version i tried last was the V9 version. Not tried the v10 version yet, I don't think
(edit) Just checked, my version of REDD is version 9.2, and I think my Waves Update Plan has expired for that particular plugin, and I don't like the cost they're quoting me to renew it, for the waves plugs i've got. So it's unlikely i'll try the V10 of REDD any time soon either

I failed to mention that I am using Tracktion 7. I own Waveform but haven't started using it yet.
As I found when I moved from T6 to T7, it can affect whether or not plugins are found/work. Many more work in T7 then T6.
Glad to hear that at least with the latest Waveform it might work.

Half of my Waves plugs are v9.92 at the minute, half of them are v10. Cos i bought them at different times, and the way their upgrades work, some i could upgrade to v10, others i couldn't.
Recently couldn't get Waveform to scan either the 9.92 or 10 waves shell, just wouldn't work at all. Deleted all my plugins, restarted, ran waveform as administrator, wouldn't pick either of them up. Uninstalled waves completely, installed latest Waves Central (same as i previously had installed), got the offline installer for my v9.92 plugins, got them installed (that took literally hours, and i don't have loads), installed the v10 versions from the internet, ran the v9 and v10 organiser, rescanned the same folder, with the same 2 waveshell vsts, and it picks them up again now.
Basically the same stuff installed, and it now works again. Waves plugs are a pain in the arse ...

If it is not working in W/T, try playing it in the free wave rack plugin. I was able to get certain waves plugins to work that way.
